Music & Psychotherapy – Where the Two Meet
Hello! I am Agni. I bring together two passions in my life: music and psychology.
As a licensed psychotherapist and a professional clarinetist with a Master of Arts in Clarinet Performance, I combine my deep musical training with my skills in education, communication, and emotional support.
As a therapist, I know how important self-expression and creativity are for emotional well-being. My background in both music and psychotherapy allows me to create a teaching environment that is not only technically supportive but also encouraging, mindful, and emotionally safe.
Playing the clarinet is more than just learning an instrument – it can become a space for focus, self-discovery and discipline, and joy.

My musical path has been shaped by over 17 years of rigorous classical training:

A 5-year Master’s degree in Music (Clarinet) from the Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk, Poland, preceded by 6 years of primary and 6 years of secondary music school.

Participation in international masterclasses with leading clarinetists across Europe

Performances as a soloist and ensemble musician in philharmonic and chamber music settings from early years

Distinction Award – International Clarinet Competition, Piotrków Trybunalski, Poland (2003)

Erasmus Music Scholarship – Utrecht School of the Arts, Netherlands (2004–05)

Performed as a solo clarinetist with the Toruń Symphony Orchestra under renowned Polish conductors Jerzy Salwarowski and Czesław Grabowski

Selected repertoire included works by Brahms, Copland, Mozart, Crusell, Poulenc, Debussy, Bloch, and Rossini
I currently teach clarinet at one of the Preparatory British Schools, and I also offer private clarinet tuition for students of all ages and levels.
